Lungarotti is wine. And hand in hand with wine come the land, vineyards, work and creativity: a passion with a long history. From the Torgiano and Montefalco estates we produce the classics of the area; from the most prized vineyards the reserve wines, and from Fattoria del Pometo the young ones. Terre d’Umbria is the fourth family, whose wines constitute a synthesis of this fascinating land.

The Lungarotti Winery in Torgiano is the first facility in Italy and Europe to supply energy from the vine. It is the climax of an innovative programme of applied research that over two years has brought about the creation of a pilot facility for recovering energy from vineyard pruning by-products. The project is a collaboration between the Lungarotti Group and the Centro Ricerca sulle Biomasse dell’Università di Perugia (CRB) headed by Professor Franco Cotana.
learn moreEach of our wines come from specialized vineyards, meaning that we do not wait until the wine is produced to decide how to use it but, on the contrary, we start in the vineyard: vines are cultivated according to type of soil and microclimate to obtain the desired characteristics, and not only for our premium wines! Here too the olive tree has grown forever, with its traditional varietals, Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo.
