Bianco di Torgiano DOC
A “single vineyard” wine from native varietals, this is a wine for connoisseurs; one of the first barrique-aged wines, its merit is the great balance without excessive wood aging, guaranteeing excellent drinkability

- type of wine: structured white wine with barrique aging
- grape varietal: 70% Trebbiano and 30% Grechetto
- harvest: September, in crates
- vinification: 70% is fermented in stainless steel, the remaining 30% is fermented in barrique
- colour: straw yellow of good intensity, with light greenish reflections
- bouquet: fruity and delicate, with evident hints of acacia flowers, thyme and star anise; hint of exotic fruits on the finish
- flavour: with good structure, pleasantly fresh and elegant; fragrant white fruit, long and sapid on the palate; a slightly bitter finish with good, refreshing acidity
- alcohol by volume: 13%
- consumption: if stored properly, aging potential is long
- food affinities: dishes of haute cuisine, particularly fish and seafood; it is also particularly indicated for pasta and soups, risotto - especially if truffle-based - white meats in general
- serving: at 12°-14°C (54-57°F), in large stem-glass
