  • anecdotesThe marble column depicted on the label is a work by Beverly Pepper, an American artist who has adopted Umbria as her home. Created as a symbol of her friendship for Maria Grazia, Chiara and Teresa, it bears a multitude of symbols closely bound with the grapevine and its vital sap, with the screw of the grape press and its stretching upwards, with life itself.
Together with Toralco, Torveto provides a synthesis of Umbrian viticulture using a new language, recalling Umbria’s three areas of excellence: Torgiano, Montefalco and Orvieto through their names and the union of their typical varietals.
