Rosso dell’Umbria IGT
Lungarotti’s answer to the request for varietal wines: directness, technique and elegance, all these characteristics are also expressed in the minimalist and direct label.

- type of wine: young red
- grape varietal: 100% Sangiovese
- harvest: September-October
- vinification: fermentation in stainless steel with brief skin contact that exalts its youthful characteristics
- colour: brilliant violet-red
- bouquet: green spices, pepper and cinnamon, typical expression of Sangiovese, it closes with slightly buttery and fruity notes (wild cherry)
- flavour: lively acidic freshness, with youthful and excellent structure, it evolves into fruitiness and balanced tannins; long and persistent finish
- alcohol by volume: 12.5%
- consumption: its fragrance and soft tannins make it a tasty complement to the daily meal, extremely pleasant even cooled in the summer
- food affinities: very pleasantly accompanies pasta and risotto, barbecued foods, cold cuts, boiled meats and, naturally, pizza, focaccia and quiches
- serving: at 14-16°C(57-61°F) in stem glasses for fresh red or white wines
