Umbria Rosato IGT
A wine whose colour announces very pleasant drinkability. Fresh and vibrant it is of a rich, pale salmon pink, its floral bouquet recalls roses and star anise with fruity notes on the finish. Freshly acidic with elegant minerality, its closing flavour is sapid with a soft aftertaste.

- vinificationAfter a brief maceration and subsequently separated from the skins, it ferments in stainless steel at controlled temperatures.
- food pairingsA tasty aperitif for happy hours, excellent with antipasti, cured meats, soups, vegetable or meat casseroles, white meats, salt- and fresh-water fish, eggs and omelettes. Preferably drunk fresh, excellent all year round, particularly in summer. Serve at 12°C.

- anecdotesThe outline depicted on the label is of Castel Grifone, a Medieval hilltop castle overlooking Perugia and Assisi, changed to Brufa at the end of the 14th century as punishment for having favoured the troops of John Hawkwood, called the “sharp one”. The castle also overlooks Torgiano’s most prized vineyards.
