Vinified in stainless steel, it is fresh and pleasantly vinuous; it matches very well with the one-course meals that are part of today's food style.

- harvest: beginning of September for Merlot, last 10 days of September for Sangiovese
- vinification: fermentation with maceration at 22°C; intense daily remontage and rapid racking after 8 days
- colour: red with brilliant violet-like tones
- bouquet: fresh and fruity, persistent, it recalls blackberries, sweet spices and cinnamon
- flavour: medium body and solid structure that immediately releases lovely red fruit flavour with a fragrant acidity on the finish; balanced with supple and particularly soft tannins
- alcohol by volume: 12.5%
- consumption: ideal also in the summer, it is recommended for informal meals and snacks
- food affinities: we recommend matching with pizza, focaccia and light pasta dishes; excellent with white meats and grilled vegetables
- serving: at 15-17°C(59-63°F) in stem glasses for white/red fresh wines
